valid point , and i just took your advice , now to replace my omnis and fidgets
Congrats!
i think im actually going to go for a pair of waltz , ive got 3 nothungs and i cant tell any difference between the fused and unfused . the arbiters are tempting but i dont really feel like grinding to complete a set of guns that arent interesting
I got my full set of storms. I am now going to get as many barriers as I can. No more than four. After that I don’t know.
Intermittently, Arbiters have been the Ultimate machine gun in my book. I run three with an aurora, and even in their current slightly nerfed state, they’re awesome. Granted, they are not the most entertaining weapon to play. Very cut and dry… spray and pray.
the set of nothungs kinda fills that void for me , paired with torero on omnis there is like no spread so stripping weapons is pretty easy
They arguably have a better form for building as well. The Arbiters are kind of hard to hide. Since I already have a set of arbiters, that’s why I didn’t go after the new guns so much.
A machine gun is a machine gun. LOL
Use Torero for them.
And I wouldn’t say they’re the ultimate machine gun (being miniguns and all). With the obvious exception of Punisher, Nothungs are the Ultimate MG now.
Bah… machine gun, minigun they both play the same way, so I just lump them together. The only real difference is the second or so it takes for the minigun to spool up.
As for the torero, you are right. That was the first good cab I actually got. I would wager I have used it more in the game than any other.
I pretty much have done what I said I would do. Holding an extra Arb and I’m now waiting on what else I can get. I’m still leaning towards quasars as that’s a good upgrade for them.
They’re sort of equal but still. Miniguns require being open all the time and leading one enemy with your crosshairs. Machine guns don’t take spin-up time and they can be used to burst up the enemy and hide again. Nothungs, that is. The rest is closer to miniguns. Nothungs are closer to burst weapons or versatile type of weapons.
You should use it more. I have tons of cabins… actually I have almost each cabin and I never touched half of them.
Same… I think I have just shy of 40 cabs.
Growl, Duster, Aggressor, Cerberus, Quantum, Torero, & Beholder are all I use even remotely regularly. Beholder is probably my most commonly used one now with the Torero slightly behind it. Their perks apply to every build type.
Duster is so friggin’ tiny, it’s a dream to build with.
Cerberus is used only in Awakening to amuse myself when I don’t really feel like paying attention to what I’m doing.
Back on topic… Anyone know an easy way to calculate how many lighters we’d get from here to the end of the season if we only did the weeklies? That’d help in deciding what to craft from here on out.
We need the daily amount for the patches (6 levels) and the weekly amount and then the math is pretty easy. I just forgot to keep the slip that I had it written on. Can grab those later in the week.
I think I’m going to spend all of mine on the new tracks. They’re fun!
Simple. 15 lighters equals 5000 BP exp. In week you’ll get 35500 by doing everything and 25000 by doing only weeklies. So you’re gonna get 75 lighters in a week if you do only weeklies or 105 lighters if you grind till it hurts.
Thank you my good man. You are a scholar and a gentleman.
Say, is there a possibility of you getting something good crafted with that pace of earning lighters?
I have every BP cab and 16 build slave spots. My cab totals are: Beholder 4 builds, Hadron 4 builds, Nova 3 builds
Blight 3 builds Kami 1 build, Echo 1 build.
Of these, all are power fused except for Blight and Hadron which are weight fused.
My movement part totals are: Icarus VII 5 builds, Icarus IV 2 builds, Hermit 3 builds, Sleipnir 5 builds Bigram 1 build.
I seem to avoid heavy cabs in my play.
I use to do that but then they started tossing them into the BP challenges. Right now that’s one of the few little things that keeps them viable.
I haven’t fully decided yet… I’m leaning towards a couple of Barriers. I don’t have any, and figure that might be a fun and useful lil toy to play with. I’ll certainly do several of the dailies, but there’s no guarantee of that. The weeklies are easy to accomplish (so far).
Same. I just find they’re too slow to be fun for me.
That’s pretty much the only time I run any of them. If they didn’t take an energy slot hit, maybe I’d play them more often. I have almost every light & medium cabin, but am missing 6/14 of the heavies with no intention or interest in ever getting them.
I mean, aside from the limit on energy, their abysmal slowness, the perks are sometimes just dumb. 15% boost in damage to weapons with limited turning radius? Really? That’s a perk? Talk about niche!
