Why is everyone complaining so much about the game?

Sometimes you just sail West…

Lol, exactly.

Wouldn’t it be more practical to just earn a little actual cash in real life and just buy that stuff outright? I assume that’s business model here, and the developers make a living off of this principal.

I mean, if you’re just playing and having fun, and have earned a bunch of resources as a byproduct of that, want to blow it on some relic (3 times over, so you can fuse it and compete in Clan Wars, supposing they don’t nerf that crap into the ground by the time you get there, years down the road), then great; What “grind,” right?

“Grind” is probably a matter of perspective (is it play or is it work?), but for people to say (and I don’t think you are) that it’s easy to grind out a clan wars worthy build are…basically that one guy, who’s obviously full of BS.

The reality of the grind is how Gaijin leverages their daily bread. Clan wars has always been framed as end game content. This means years of playing, or you pony up the cash. I think most people pony up the cash at some point. I’d rather do it that way, myself, and I believe the game is designed to work that way. I think it’s just more practical.

I suspect you’d rather be fishing than grinding. I’d rather be wrenching on my Motorcycle, and the periodic request for $9.99 from these developers for a Battle Pass seems reasonable for entertainment. It’s hard for me to look at that content and think, “No, I’m gonna grind that stuff out over the next year or two.” Screw that. Here’s my $10, I say.

Having said that, I do have a F2P account, just because I enjoy the alternate perspective of seeing what I can actually accomplish through F2P…Clan Wars will never be on that agenda, though. I just don’t see the point, but I do like seeing this game from the other side, and being able to actually see what it is this game has to offer to the free player, rather than speculate.

There’s been a lot of speculation about how this game is pay to win, and rather than offer empty conjecture on the topic, I actually know how much stuff they give away, and how “grindy” it is. I am tracking it. I think they are actually pretty generous with their free to play content. It’s very playable (no purchase necessary), but I think if one wants to actually compete in Clan Wars they should consider dropping some cash. I think you’d be foolish not to.

That’s not really playing the game now is it?

I enjoy working for the things I want more then having the things I worked for. It’s the journey, more then the carrot at the end.

Isn’t that what makes it a game?

But some guys already decided that the carrot is unachievable, they just defeated themselves without trying.

'you should ‘really stop giving advise’ did you even read what you said?

Yes, I did. Thanks for asking.

Great answer !

At the same time, some players complain about meta-crafts that have no alternative. Because of such complaints developers break it so that players create something new.

Because the devs have pissed everybody off in some major way except meta chasing NPC’s.

All fishing season. My “grinding” is done in the winter. I watch TV on one screen and “grind” on the other.

You do not need fused relics to be in ore. (yes, it is a disadvantage, but can be overcome.) Once you are in ore, the next relics are gained much much faster. You do need fused relics to compete at top end though.

The account I played and judge by is a f2p account on PC, I started it just to experience how a fast a new account could be leveled when focused on it.

You can take 4 guys with the “right” legendary weapons and if they would stop being OCD enough about playing their own build and if you could get them to stop thinking they are gods gift to the world and listen to some real CW tactics then you could be in Our your first week easy.

You just always get the guys that are like “I’m not playing META” , “I don’t want to be in a clan”, “it’s impossible to get relics without paying cash”, “I’m not playing (insert weapon name here)” and “I only play art builds”

If those dudes could shut their mouth for like 5min, Do exactly what they are told, they might realize that all of this stuff is simple and they are their own worst enemy.

Not only have they convinced themselves they can’t do it, they also push that negative :poop: on everyone else and convinced other people they can’t do it. They quite without even trying.

heresy! begone false prophet, by the power of christ i compel you!

you pay lavishly on your mobile account and the last time you played cw there was some years ago going by your own statements.

on pc you havent really played any cw at all now have you?

let me guess, you made an account and messed around with it a bit but never got that far. i mean its just a f2p account, cant really stick with that, amirite? so youre just making very rudimentary predictive assumptions about how long it would take you to actually earn uranium in a clan, right?

ive been reading your posts regarding this topic.

or have i missed an update and youre actually playing pc cw now? in which case obviously pics or it didnt happen.

ahahaha, thats what i thought.

Everyone complains a lot because we have a community with a pretty high ratio of garbage poeple who feel entitled. A lot of sexist amd racist people in the community and a lot of people who like to look down on other people. So in turn we also get excessive complaining. “Hit the door long and hard enough and someone will answer” is the mentality of too many people here, and its baffling they dont see whats wrong with that behaviour. Easily the worst gameing community ive ever been a part of.

Love the game though.

I would certainly hope I am not sexist or racist. If you see me post something that seems that way, please send me a PM. It is certain that is not my intention in any way.

I freely admit I think of myself as an average player trying to glean any information from the forum.

I also do not intend any kind of looking down on anyone in my posts. I seek nuggets of knowledge from others that I might apply to my own experiences.

It is baffling to me that a person would not complain about something they do not like.

In reality, some societies it is socially accepted that you do not complain. In my society, it is dishonorable to not say what one thinks.

“The Squeaky wheel get’s the grease”.

Indeed. Sometimes people forget platitudes.
