Clan Confrontation..How do u earn points

Thanks, but I’ll be honest that was a better than average run for me. I am getting better at the mode because I’m playing a lot, but my lack of CW experience made it tough at first.
4v4 really requires a different mindset and different tactics.

I mean, its pretty obviouse to me that its a thing. Its fairly consistent.

Ok so put down the equations to be checked.

I’m not sure if I completely understand your post, but I think I do, and I don’t know if that’s really a problem.
In the casual clan I started, I seem to be the only one who really likes confrontation, so I’m scoring the majority of our confrontation points. Some players only do PVE, so they aren’t contributing to that score at all. But it’s good to have some people who play a lot of PVE, because otherwise we wouldn’t clear those challenges.
From what I can see, it’s actually good if your clan has a mixture of players, some of whom don’t care about confrontation mode.

Thanks Zod … I get it.

no Poony4u its your clan … you run it casual … well they will be casual. If you want those badges u r going to have to get un casual … and active. No pve is not good … thats for babies. Grown ups do Confront. Our clan is new and we are Lengendary every week with mostly new players. u can do it … every player should have a goal of 5000 confront points as to it being their share of the required points to max the badges

+1 - this is the way.

Yeah, no.
My only goal in playing any game is: have fun. If it’s not fun, why bother?

I mean, if we were completing challenges that we weren’t unlocking, I would want my clan mates to play more confrontation, but we’re not at that point.
And if none of the clan played PVE, we would miss out on all those badges.
If my clan was playing clan wars, it would be a different situation, but we’re not.
We just picked up a lot of new members though, so maybe we might end up in a situation where we are missing out by not having a high enough confrontation dating, but so far that’s not an issue.

Patents why bother? Because those badges are the life blood of all new/semi new up and coming players. Without those badges you are not going anywhere if you are newer to this game. Fun? Let me tell how much fun it is to get 1450 badges roughly every time we hit another level … 4050 every week if we do personal challenges too. Before Confront I could get 2900 roughly by myself after hard raids etc etc … now it is easier now and we get more badges … Fun is not the only thing going on here. The word … determination comes to mind. We are determined to beat our opponents and beat the game! Does anyone here think you cant "beat the game’? You know like develope the skill to craft/ride/destroy and excel at the market? sell/buy anything you want? craft any car you want… any gun … destroy!! complete all your patches … uh huh. This isnt Outer Limits … we are in control!

well thx for Nothing again stupid game’—really? no +points?

‘this getting old and boring Really Really Fast’

If the game isn’t fun, why would I bother to farm any at all? I mean, I didn’t play this game 6 years because I thought gaining emblems was in anyway fun. I play it because I like Craft, Ride, Destroy. Everything else is a bonus to the fun, not the fun itself.

We shouldn’t confuse self imposed goals with the game play loop actually being fun or not.

Indeed. This is why I complained so much about the removal of solo badge gain. The current system implementation is pretty good for game health in the long run (assuming new players know to farm them)

Now the real question is when i play cw and i get 4000 match points and only 800 conf points and sometimes i get 800 match ponts but in confrontation points i get 1500 (u can check history of every game how many conf points u get). I know about top 5 battles scores and i know how it calculates and im not talking about that. I want to understand how calculations work in match ponts and conf points. And dont tell me it multiplies because its not. Reapeting: i play cw and i get 4000 match points and only 800 conf points and sometimes i get 800 match ponts but in confrontation points i get 1500. Check ur battles history

Match points aren’t the same as confrontation points. Not sure exactly how they are calculated, but it’s a different formula.
I believe that “parts damaged/destroyed” has a bigger impact on your confrontation score than it does on your match points. But beyond that, I haven’t been able to figure out any specific differences, just that there are.

They posted how the points are calculated a while ago it used a off calculation if I remember correctly so it would have been harder for us to figure it out. It’s posted somewhere on the forum just don’t have the link for it on hand. It was also posted as an update on the news section of the site so it could be searched out that way too.

If I remember correctly, they never really revealed the exact scoring system. I think they only attempted to explain how the points awarded are based on what points were previously awarded (and even that explanation was confusing).

I would love if at the end of matches there was a screen that showed our complete stats for the game, including how those things contributed to our match score and our confrontation points.

The only reason I ever joined this forum is to try to get answers to stuff that isn’t explained properly in-game. Which is also why I get salty when people use the forum as an emotional support group and/or spread misinformation.

Some memories from the post.
Winning equals more points.
Working as a team, like kill and kill assists equals more points, it seems the closer you are to the allies the more your points. Also, damage done early but the enemy dies later seems wasted. The damage appears to have the 15 second timer of old.
The shorter the battle the more points. You play two almost exactly the same battles. The first ends in 90 seconds, the second takes almost the full five minutes, huge difference in CC points.

No they put the entire calculation up on the update and attempted to explain it.

lol, the first reply is from me.
I totally forgot about that post, thanks for finding it.
Although I notice they still don’t specify exactly how all those factors are multiplied in the various modes, just that they have their own weighting.

And I don’t think I noticed the first time that this system is how scoring works in all modes, just with different modifier values.
