You can still get those prestige level parts for free. The pay gold for them is just a temp thing.
Crossout was a good game. Chess was/is a good game too.
Chess had no real changes and more and more people are playing it, or paying for it.
Crossout had a ton of changes and less and less people are playing the game.
To find out whats wrong with crossout start a new game and try to grow. This was easy. Now its getting harder and harder in many ways. Loosing 20 times a match in a row in pvp or clan for a good player (someone who gets mostly the most points and is a also a nice teamplayer), the matchmaking, seems for me the biggest issue. Maybe Gaijin should solve existing issues instead of creating more and more of them by buffing and nerfing things etc. But this is only my personal opinion.
I agree, this game’s lobby needs attention. They do seem to be giving new players (and the rest of us) lots of free stuff this Christmas, but the problem seems to be player retention, and even though this is a nice sentiment, it won’t address the problem.
Even identifying the problem specifically is probably difficult, but I think it is simply unfriendly to casual users. Many of us will throw the mouse (or controller) at the screen fewer times before moving on.
Personally, I see Adventure Mode as being a part of the lobby, could and should be updated to support the casual user’s amusement. Too much could be done with this feature to list, and yet nothing at all ever happens, year after year.
I think they should wake that mode up, put a static race track in there for starters, then use it to sell their seasonal crap by dressing it up according to the seasonal themes.
Decorate this map according to whatever they are trying to sell, like if it’s Mechs, dress the bots like Mechs, and put signs in the store-fronts and along the highway alluding to the “mech-madness ahead, beware!” Or, if it’s drifter cars, dress a shop up with Japanese drift-car style, and park a few bots out front to patrol the area dressed in whatever cabs, guns, and bling they plan on selling.
Show off the goods, maybe even preemptively just to juice the market. Change up the scenery often, add new stuff, Easter eggs, road signs, a random damsel in road-distress (“Help, I busted the radiator…bling!”). Give the casual user a reason to see what’s new in the wasteland today, without all the sweaty dedication.
Instead, this game goes straight to the grind, with very little focus on the game environment. It doesn’t invite you into immersion or a fantasy escape so much as it thrusts you immediately into rush-hour traffic, competing with a lot of people with something to prove. Not very many people give that big a shit about video games, and can find friendlier entertainment. They sort of ask a lot from their players.
Since when do bricks press S mate? Can you think for a second?
when they run into a wall at 150 kmh and have to reverse to get out before you do any damage to them
Check out my article. This would be a better solution than reducing the number of game modes.
- I am korean and i playing on RU server with 230 ping. this is pain
if your saying remove patrol vs ai and make it solely pvp you can leave. i would absolutely quit this game if this happened because i cannot be bothered to do pvp. i hate pvp.
i have seen a massive surge in players doing patrol vs ai though.
no, add more content in general thats permanent, enough with this fucken temporary shit that in the next damn pass requires that battlepass item to craft, i am absolutely sick and tired of this and its nothing but a damn scam and a cash grab. they are being so scummy with their monitization tactics and im tired of it. want a perfect example of this? look no further then the Nemesis. it requires the lucifer AND the jackie to make, both battlepass items and are stupidly expensive in the market.
helis are op because they have alot more to work with then ground builds. on ground builds your limited to the ground and have limited firing angles. on a heli you have the entire sky to work with and a much bigger area, sure your vulnerable to things like bots and their bs accuracy but other then that alot of ground builds cannot hit you, on top of this to they are very hard to hit in the air even with AA rifles like the starfall and the cyclones. i have alot of difficulty unless they come into my territory on the ground. if they are in the air they are free to strip you and kill you easily and its not fair to us ground players.
ps4 would like to have a word with you on them prices.
when a new legendary is released it skyrockets to like 9k easily. itll go down overtime but if the item is required for a relic then it shoots up drastically.
this is part of the reason i quit pvp because of the amount of losses i get. its not fun to lose like 15 or 20 matches in a row so i gave up and moved to pve. plus having only one life in patrol is just depressing. id rather respawn and have fun instead of sit there and watch my team be stupid.
I think the better-bots make PVE more interesting, for sure. I think they make PVP more interesting too, actually. I think they are in a good spot right now, and I can see me playing more PVE of some sort.
what? have u become Retarded ?
pvp is a mess…my go to is Patrol…
what game are u playing?
PVP needs to be fixed and patrol needs to go. People only play it because targem screwed pvp up. The playerbase is too goddamn small to have so many gamemodes.
Wheels need full reverse speed because noobs have zero fucking chance. ZERO. They have no op stats or perks to bruteforce players with, they have no mobility, they have a very low skill ceiling, the least versatility (with the parts a noob has) and they are getting crushed by all these diehard players who have much more mobility and options. My two buddies I got into this game both quit because they got stuck fighting hovers, omnis, and gerridas with special wheels. They couldnt do shit without reverse speed and/or strafing. Targem has forced brick meta into existence with their retarded way of buffing wheels; bricks are the most viable wheel builds but nobody seems to notice or care.
And on top off what u guys say there is another issue which just pissed me off. U can not plan anything because events comes in surprises. I was planning to craft relics on this crafting event this year like they did previous year and nothing i was saving uranium for 4 months, i was producing legendaries needed to craft relics and nothing. Just fusion event. F*** **u devs and your stupid surpises. Im really loosing interest in this game
waiting half an hour to get into a battle , into anykind of battle
if there would be a option to reset the progress in Bloodrock i would rather be there instead of being idle in the qeue without end
What PS? Which platform?
reguardles of ps
Well your under 4k as wires and batteries are locked. I’m saying that might be part of your issue.
even with the 5,5 k build i have to wait as long or more
Sub 2k matches are almost always hard to get though.
2 minutes max on average
4?
NO, IT DOESNT.
if you remove that mode then everyone will quit, are you that dense?
nobody wants to be forced to play pvp and those who dont quit will have to deal with even less players then before. i guarantee if you remove pve from the game a big majority of people will quit. the devs wont even consider this.
seriously stop smoking the christmas trees, they arent healthy for you.
yes it does, but removing pve isnt the way to do this. why the hell would you remove pve and force people to do the crappy pvp mode that they dont want to do? this is basically what your trying to do here.
or they can make the game less grindy and more a leisurely pace to get stuff and make the items from battlepasses available to craft for everyone instead of making them temporary. i believe this is the issue because newer players have no chance to make anything in the battlepass and have to rely on the absurdly high prices on the market place just to get anything.
dude they literally just did a relic crafting event for halloween. how did you miss that? i highly doubted they would do yet another for this event so soon after the first one they did.
excuse me there good sir but i believe i see 22 minutes on the timer, not 30. polishes my monocle
the difference between special and epic wheels is huge. i lose my rares and special wheels all the time but for ones like epics i dont usually need to worry all that much. i rarely if ever lose bigfoots and for some reason they are incredibly durable to cannon fire.
the devs are to focused on battlepasses to care though.
