How is our game REALLY doing - a possibility

Here is a silver lining (not really directed at you - it just made me think of it when I read this)

Confrontation mode seems like it would give PvP players a break from playing CW and try hard guys.

While we are all try Harding away at confrontation it might make for a better PvP experience? I wouldn’t know, I don’t play PvP when Confrontation mode is active, but I would have to assume it is easier during that window. No?

I have played limited games so far, but it doesn’t take them out of the pool they were never in.
Going from 16k+ to a hard 9k misses a lot of PS range.

Edit: To be clear, I am going to be one of the die hards soon. There was Ice on the rocks today. Maybe another week of fishing.

Yes, but at least on Xbox we have some clans that only play PvP at 9k in 4 man teams. Then when playing clan wars they use high PS builds. When confrontation mode is going they play that instead, which removes the 9k doom platoons for the que.

Also - 16k+ PvP has to get a “lot” easier during those windows, just like it does when clan wars is open. (I would have to guess that during CWs it is more easy then during Confrontation)

To me there is only one “doom platoon”. They are still playing at the same 9.2-9.9k ps. It’s the only squad I have a problem getting 40 points when on their team. because they kill opposing teams so fast.
There isn’t any other squads on Xbox that are “great” enough for me to care about.

The only difference I’ve seen is that 9kPS PVP has a lot more skilled and experienced players now, at least when confrontation isn’t active.
When confrontation is active, I’m mostly playing that, so not sure if PVP changes.

I will say that while I’m not currently playing much high PS PVP, I have been dabbling around 13kPS with a Thyrsus/Acari build and doing much better than I thought I would. Not sure if my build is better than I thought it would be, or if the competitive players aren’t all playing higher PS anymore.

Rough monkey those dreams are crushed. full month of september is nearly in and it seems you jumped the gun too soon
Capture

Lol, those dreams are not crushed.
If you listen to the Reddit guys they ruined the game with their attacks.

Do you see the game population ruined?

peak players are the exact same.
Seems like a pretty good recovery coming out the other side of a “so-called” Reddit uprising.

By these numbers you show the Reddit tantrum was a complete waste of time, and the population has leveled off. good job reddit :+1:

Rough monkey the only thing resembling any real evidence for the game doing good were the steam charts. You can’t even use that now lol. Go enjoy the game if you enjoy it but stop going around saying like the game is at some kind of all time high or something when it is the total opposite, it is more like an all time low. I enjoy the game as well but wouldn’t recommend it. It is like recommending cigarettes, you love it personally your own self but knows it ain’t good for those who never tried it and I think it should stay that way, let the population keep declining.

Yes you can.

Even numbers after a failed Reddit attack are pretty good.

Go Reddit :joy: lol

So great

Why don’t you show the numbers from December of 2022 to the start of the game?

Oh…. That’s right. It’s because we have more people playing now then we did the first 4+ years of the game. If it could last 4 years on less money it can run now with even more money. (These guys are doing just fine as a company)

Lol, they had guys at Reddit thinking they had enough power to crush this game. They didn’t even move the population 1%.

Talk about a fail.

That’s fake data and you know it stop spreading disinformation, only you keeps thinking those numbers were real.

Yeah things still looking so great, no decline there after they merged the Chinese verson

Lol, your using the same chart and data.

So your saying that the numbers are correct as long as it makes the game look bad? But if it makes the game look good then the data is wrong?

Nice try man.

Also we know that in January of 2023 we had a Chinese server go down, which caused a flood of players. (We even had someone complaining in a thread the other day about Chinese type being in PC game chat)

Also (I don’t know this personally but heard it from one of our Chinese forum members) the Crossout server is back up in china and people moved back, BUT he was talking about how many of them still don’t trust the other company so some of them stayed.

All the numbers are pretty clear, you can even see when major nerfs and patches happened by just looking at the bumps in the graph.

Oh and we’re back to 2020 numbers!

It only took the merging of multiple game versions to get there… and it’s still on decline

Rough money I already proved we got roughly the same player count more or less of what we always had and you still got the bananas in your ears. Your only counter argument was quote “that proves nothing” without even stating about why it wasn’t proof. I went above and beyond and proved it hard cold data, while your only arguing out of pure emotion that is it. No logic behind your statements what so ever. Your best argument is shorter queues times lmfao.

Ummm, no.

I’m moving on to a different thread now.
Thanks for the conversation, but I a can read a chart. And I can put outside info together that correlates to said chart that matches exactly to things that happened over the years.

When they do national polls they only take a sample of the population and work the math out from their.

We all know the steam numbers are not the 100% population because not everyone uses the steam launcher. But we don’t need to know every single user since the steam chart is a large enough focus group that pairs up with historical data’s in Crossout patch history.

At the end of the day  who cares anyways. I’m having fun and that is all that matters to me.

Thanks for the entertainment dev team!

Except you can’t

You, obviously

Thought you said the devs didn’t read the forums, you have to go to reddit and thank them there.

I don’t know what to think of those numbers (steam chart). Since the Chinese migration they seem sort of nonsensical to me.

I do think player sentiment is at an all time low, and you’d have to have your head pretty far up your colon to not see that, but I’m pretty sure people like their heads way up there these days. Who knows why? It’s the times we live in.
