It was literally built for usage with light cabins. That’s its purpose.
then shouldnt hovers be taken out as well since it falls along side with cloak
People have been using the same argument against hovers for many years. Probably started the day hovers were introduced.
i personally dont care but i just thought id say it cuz its technically in the same category as star trek technology lol
skillful players being obliterated by monkeys in dog builds is in every way about balance and nothing other than balance.
youre saying you dont want dogs to be nerfed, and yet you want all playstyles to be viable, while at this moment the only viable playstyle is hold W with a dog build.
i hold RT in pvp with my good friend boom stick
Never said all builds are ruined, said most builds
Imagine a game without cloak, those short range high dps guys would actually have to work for their kills.
I imagine a map with fog so thick everybody is cloaked by it. I’d like rain so heavy it makes all the cars drift and slide too. I’d like occasional random weather nuisance added to all the maps in PVP, perhaps even including the toxic storm that kicks in towards the end of matches.
I’m just bored as hell with these same maps, over and over, and think that something needs to help them be a little different and less repetitive.
I think they could manufacture a randomly assembled map generator so that they are always different, at least in flora and fauna, sky lighting, and weather.
As for the cloak; I think the sheer strength of melee in its current state is just too much, and if that was toned down a hair, maybe the cloaks wouldn’t be such an issue.
The new super-cloak isn’t going away, so I think the best option is to add some wonk to melee so they aren’t so overwhelming in general. I’m not sure what other play-style is leaning on cloaks so much for their overwhelming effectiveness.
“work” for their kills, as in they dont have a direct path to the back of your build without any resistance. my mammoths still take 500 shots to kill a fire brick, its not like i can now save my teammate if i see the dog earlier
Cloak was annoying before, but with the yeti and rune-1 it has become ridiculous.
Players running around the map perma invisible, and the anti invis modules are just a joke and waste of energy.
What do you mean by that?
I rarely used verifier before, but it’s been helping me a lot lately on any build that is vulnerable to dogs. And when I’m playing dogs, verifiers on the other team are a major impediment to sneaking up on victims.
shame on you.
All’s fair in love and war, my friend.
Adapt or die.
I guess dopplers have become useless then, when everyone plays a perma cloaking build
I’m not sure about that. I’m still more likely to run a Doppler or even a Maxwell on most of my builds. The verifier is for my less mobile builds, and some sniper builds because I tend to get tunnel vision when using scopes.
rather die than to adapt to a crossout meta
That’s a choice you can make!
Maybe they should just double the energy for cloak generators to 2 points.
It would be a quick fix, but it would make cloak more in line on what its worth.
I think the new energy system is going to make the higher rarity cloaks cost more energy. Which seems like a good way to balance things better.
