Nerf gerrida

Reduce the op movement parts durability/tonnage, reduce the power drain of crappy movement parts, or increase their speed, or increase their turning speed, or give back 5 kmh to every cab, or stop releasing open field maps with a few island of cover here and there that massively benefit strafing ranged builds. Took me 30s to come up with 7 solutions that actually increase the speed of the game, or at least don’t reduce it.

BUT

None of these suggestions consider the fact that heavy cabs have effectively been kicked out of the meta by the mobility powercreep. So if the goal is to balance the game around the current power of fast strafing parts… Well GL, that’s really big and convoluted patch notes you’re looking at.

Increasing power consumption is a speed nerf.

Regarding tires to help tonnage, that means tires are more efficient than legs. Not sure what your point is there.

Mostly means non ST wheels were never meant to be hung up in the air to get the tonnage advantage while negating their grip and steering deficiencies…

Oh, I mean nerf them and it will make the game faster by getting some of the players to play tyres

Previously players used tyres like this on hover, the developers made this design stick to the ground

I support this

Regarding heavy cabs, you need to swap over to console. Heavy cabs are quite popular.

But epic movement parts are already the prefered mode of transportation past 5k PS because of how bad special and below wheels are… Once again, this is creating more work and ways to fuck up than nerfing the op outliers does.

It also means you can target the huge hitbox of the leg and put them overtonnage pretty easily. I see no issue there

I get you like to play in the kitty pool and perhaps there is an issue with epic vs special. I am open to PS increases, if it is truly an issue. That said, I have oftencused special wheels at 9k and below…but I havent spent much time there in yrs

Excuse me for discussing the balance of the game in general instead of the 5% you play.

I have no issue with your comment…but your hyperbole serves to discredit you.

I acknowledge I am no SME on lower PS balance. I am skeptical of your analysis but open to considering your opinions.

When I play lower PS on PS4, I don’t actually see a lot of strafing parts. Mostly wheels or tracks.
Recently seeing a lot of four leg gerrida builds, but I think that’s more about them being new and lots of players having only the four BP ones. If that’s all you have, and you make a build to try them, you’ll end up in low/mid PS.
I don’t find those small gerrida builds that much of an issue. The bigger ones in high/mid PS are more challenging to face.

I think that’s “kiddie pool,” smart ass, not “kitty pool.” :pouting_cat:

If you’re going to be condescending, it’d probably be more effective if you didn’t also make yourself appear illiterate in the process.

I think he could have said “I understand that you like to play low PS” and someone would have still thought it was a backhanded insult.

Reality is I dont care what PS anyone plays. I have never been concerned with “seal clubbers”. I play 12k and above because I think that is where the more skilled players often play. Most that I know that drop down do so to avoid competition. We all seek different objectives.

I think 9k is the most versatile area. More things can be successfully played here than most any other area. I WISH CW would provide 1 week each month to use a lower PS limit. It would allow newer players to join in earlier and break up some of the monotony.

Have you been watching the game news?

We are getting 9k CWs (finally some kind of simi-competitive mid PS mode)

That is why I’m posting builds at the below post:

False. It isnt CW. It is similar though and I am looking forward to it. That said, with no uranium, it is possible that it isnt embraced by the same community.

I like what they are doing and I fused beau coup epics just in case theycturn out to be meta.

Well… not exactly, BUT

The points form this mode will be added to the total clan points, so you might get guys that fight over let say… 1st and 2nd place - and these point might push one of them over to the next level.

So it will effect even high level clans.

I look forward to the complete roll-out. I am cautiously optimistic but yield the devs can still screw up the implementation. If there isnt sufficient rewards, it is very possible that it will not be adopted en masse
