New co-drivers. Test server

Under the old system, Master Jack and Jade had serious advantages, Purseus and Misty had their uses and the rest were terrible. All of these new ones appear game changing.

How about Chemist for my Porcs, Crickets, Locusts and Waltzes? I’m not sure these guns can handle a bigger damage and blast radius. Infiltrator also looks fantastic. Aggressor perk on Arbiters may break the game. Operative appears to be far better than Sniper and will be the go to codriver for Scorpions.

Will Clan wars allow separate co drivers for separate builds now?

I had actually suggested a system that would have let them do that awhile ago (pre-new forum/loss of idea section) but the codrivers would have also been trade-able and players could pick up alternative co-drives and duplicates via events. Each of them would have been level-able to a point and trading them would just lock you out of using them till you required them (i.e retaining the level data). Dupes would be used for upgrading level gains and replacement/trades…

Heh. I just lost hope for this update. Stats are all over the place, and it just looks like a bunch of nonsense that will be left unfinished and untouched for years, like everything else in this game. And the fact they’re reintroducing Chase in same update tends to prove my point lol.

No your not right. Just like I said in the other thread. I personally agree with you. But others obviously don’t and this game is not just about high end play.

Different kinds of people play this game, and if we truly love this game then we will defend low and mid PS players too.

it’s not off topics , it’s also about codriver.

I think to maintain balance they really need to not do +dmg buffs for all weapons. Each weapon type should be independently floated so it can be adjusted better. They are going to have the same issue with spread and puddle damage or any other buff.

You could easily end up seeing the most op weapons get a 15% dmg bonus just for sighting in an enemy for 2 seconds. lol… This is stupidly broken.

yeah thats a massive boost in damage, that would take kaiju from legendary to relic.
from what im seeing from the new co-driver system is all damage, damage, damage. it looks like it was just thrown in a blender and given to whomever they wanted. it looks all over the place. i like the old system better with all the perks instead of just having like 3 or 4 perks per driver.

I do agree that generic boosts will benefit already (or newly) OP weapons or meta builds more while leaving others in the ditch. They will have to fine-tune the bonuses to weapons/cabins more specific if this is expected to have any semblance of balanced game :frowning:
But then again - its just us, same 2 dozens old farts in that silenced forum.

TBH I’d rather have generic bonuses, and see them balance the weapons from there.
