New co-drivers. Test server

hmmm, looks like speed’s back on the menu

Speed was always on the menu. With sabbath wheels cars can already go 10% faster than they ever could. Now they will get an extra 5%. We will now be able to make rides go 15% faster than they did before the cabin speed nerf. Speed didn’t go anywhere. Y’all just never saw the whole picture.

lol why would I want to take damage to increase my speed, ew. Flawless please

I don’t know why you’re trying to justify my own specific issues like you’re in my brain lmao, you need some validation much?

Oh if anyone can test if vehicles can go over 120kmh with this new perk please let me know, I’d love to find out, I’m assuming not though as they’d probably say so

I saw you broke 300 on your Hover-Nerf thread. Well done.

Am I right in understanding that a new player could focus all their glory points on a single co-driver, allowing them to max out their favourite relatively quickly? If so, this could actually be good for new players.

The biggest reason this new codriver system should not see the light of day is because of new players vs seal clubbers. New players probably won’t be able to unlock codrivers too soon. And they will be stuck facing players with 20% dammage buffs from codrivers. Not good. Not good at all.

With the amount of work they have put into this, it is not a test to see “if” they are going to add it. It is a test to see “how” they are going to add it.

Like it or not, we are going to get this new system.

Well it would really suck if we did just like the torque update that never came to pass.

Devs KNOW if there even are new players. And still - XO is not really friendly to new players - facing a Parser at 4k PS is not exactly fun.

If they put a lot of work in to it it doesn’t show. Every one of us could have come up with this new codriver system in a day. Alone.

Well this codriver change will just enforce new players choices to quit crossout early. It’s going to be far too much for new players to fight against. This will cause population to decrease at a faster rate as the game will no longer be getting new players. They will surely not continue to play this game.

It’s really just unfortunate. We’ve been doing pretty decent the past year with getting new players. Now it’s going to go downhill faster. I say this takes at least a year off of the game life.

Has anyone actually tried the test server yet? Interested to hear how it actually feels.

I’ve been trying for days, but I keep getting one error or the other. Sometimes it tells me my account doesn’t have permission to use the TS, other times I get in, but I get Error 212 as the match queues up, or I sit in the queue for 5 minutes…then get error 212. It’s being quite the hassle.

Too bad consoles have no test server.

I was on there, day one and two of the test… It’s always horrible, I got kicked from most of the matches I started and the match maker is worse then normal due to less people showing up. Beyond that the proposed system is just kind of boring and only partially finished so you can’t see how many glory points you might actually end up with. You could unlock all of them and try them. There’s really not much to say past that. Most of the activated talents you can’t really tell if they are activated or not. Though you can see the counters for it moving up and down.

If they had just reworked co driver perks they had and included more weapon groups, they would have been fine. The perks here are far too strong and getting a 25% damage buff is stupid high.
I do my dailies at 2500PS on patrol as it takes 6 minutes to complete but with these perks low PS games are just going to be so overpowering if used in low PS PvP.

Yeah the high flat bonuses are going to be rather nasty with High dmg weapons.
