New co-drivers. Test server

What - the I haven’t seen any videos posted? Maybe thats why i was confused. I want to know if anybody has tested ALL the new co-drivers and their opinions!!

I was saying it was hard to test most of them if you back scroll only one was easy to notice the trigger point. i.e. Operative.

Yes, I’ve seen a vid about new co drivers.
Is it so hard to check yt or twitch instead of asking ppl on barely used forum?

Before I asked the question I already did a search on You tube and didn’t find any. That is why it was asked.

If you know of a video, then post a link.

You didnt search good enough
(1) НАПАРНИКИ | Тест-сервер Crossout - YouTube

You could have just posted a link the first time. It would have taken less time.

Also, I’m not Russian, and that video is aweful.

BUT thank you! Anyways

It was ezz to find, I just typed “crossout test server” filtered last week and voila
It sucks theres no eng version n only one creepy guy speaking language I also dont understand ,but it only shows real state of this game.

Use subtitles on that vid it may help, but translation isnt great.

I am excited for the projectile speed codriver, mainly because I have a few guns cough astreus varun argument cough that I always feel like I could do better with them if the bullets traveled just a bit faster. Especially Argument, man what an absolute failure that gun was and still is lmao

Yes I fuzed a set of three of them thinking they’d buff it considerably since it was just that bad, but it still does not feel enough

I do agree that some speed will help

But because the weapons that already preform well will also be able to use this perk and preform better.

This will still make them under powered weapons.

Depends on the weapon, with some of the slower more arching weapons (range dynamics) it helps a ton with some of the faster ones it’s hardly noticeable.

If weapons speed can get buffed I imagine pulsar could make a cw comeback.

I really do hope that more weapons become worth using again. That would be awesome.

But because all weapons have access to the new drivers I don’t see bad weapons becoming better then the weapons that are already good.

All weapons will get a boost of some kind in the new system.

New drivers will difinetely require rebalancing of wepons, otherwise we will just get a new meta.

how about they re-balance the Co-drivers instead of the weapons all the time…

Why would that be a problem? Some new metas could be a good thing.

I am in the minority but I don’t see much issue. I think it is a big case of much ado about nothing. Not a perfect system but better than what was there previously.

I think this is more interesting then the old system for sure. Better? Not sure, but I really want to try it for sure.

I do think some of these drivers can be abused, some are clearly better then others

i thought pulsar shots were fast no?
even with the shot speed upgrade they arent good?

Out of curiosity, how would you rank em? I can see some uses for all of them, but I’m not sure I can spot a clear winner, even if I can seea few ones I think are crap. If I had to evaluate them from a glance, I’d say

Aggressor (bad)
Good for Nova MG, and maybe stillwind builds if they exist? The passives look pretty lame, the perk has a big downside. Not impressed.

Tankman (bad) I like tanking, and I won’t touch this one. 2s of taking damage in CW before your perk activates means it’ll be pointless against ranged builds, and half the mid range or melee weapons murder you in that time. It won’t tank lances, it won’t tank Dests, it won’t tank Retchers or Porcs. Passives are meh, especially the generator one…

Sniper (Average)
Bad passives, but if there’s no CD on the perk, I can see it becoming a real thing on Kaiju. +28% damage by the 5th shot? Not sure how it’ll stack with Retchers’ and Crickets’ perk. If it’s multiplicative… oof.

Infiltrator (Good)
Ridiculous passives, and the perk looks easy to trigger (tho enemies can annoy the crap out of you) and very powerful. Pretty sure a good chunk of the close range ranged builds will go for that. Helios/Dest hovers, Breakers, prob lots of Nova builds and Breakers Aegis if taking damage to the shield does not cancel theperk.

Rogue (Good)
How to preserve your mobility. The whole passive kit is geared towards that, and especially for hovers. Perk seems less strong than others, but very easy to trigger, for both hovers and dogs.

Ravager (Please don’t)
Nobody wants to play against Yaoguai with this passive kit. Please reconsider :'D

Operative (Good)
Another good codriver, another hover codriver, increasing their mobility AND accuracy. Pretty sure that’ll be the pick of most long range hovers.

Chemist (hard to tell without numbers)
Could very well be the most broken thing everybody will play depending on how it works. I secretely hope it only buffes blast damage and/or is quite weak, otherwise everybody with a trombone will play it.

They all look like they’ll compliment specific builds very well to me. I’ll be happy with the Ravager, probably. It’s what I’ve been needing for my Fuzes, but it’ll be buffed against buffed opponents, so it probably won’t make much of a difference. If everybody is buffed, then nobody is buffed. Especially the new guy,eh?

What I would imagine will happen is that matches will go a lot faster (everybody will be more lethal, right?), and I’ll spend more time in the queue than in the game. My queues average about 00:01:56. I bet with everybody buffed like this (with the new co-drivers), matches might not be much longer than that, if that long…until they start nerfing stuff again. You know they will.

The other thing is, hitting level 30 is going to feel like hitting a brick wall for new players, I think. I bet the game runs a lot better, and is more fun under level 30, without the co-drivers involved. Unless the matchmaker is rigged, like some of us suppose it is, and they put the magic finger on the scale for gringos and aces, the grind for them could be even worse than before. They’ll be stuck playing whatever their co-driver can handle or loosing.

I think it’d be hard as a new player to try and play any build that didn’t have a co-driver designed for it. Kids won’t be rotating styles, like going from shotguns to cannons, or stuff like that. They’ll stick with the style that gets buffed by their co-driver, or loose.

Buying packs when you don’t have a co-driver that supports that packs build and gear wouldn’t seem like a good deal either, and playing the goods will likely seem disappointing, since they may not have proper synergy with the one co-driver they give you to start with. Aces will be in something of a rut, I think…unless they sell co-drivers with the packs. That would make “starter packs” a lot more appealing to new players, if they came with the co-driver needed to support it, I think. They’d be foolish not to do it that way, IMO.

Maybe that’s what this is all about; marketing. If new players could drop $9.99 on a starter pack and collect co-drivers that way, rather than grind them out like they do now, I bet they would. I would. It was a helluva grind to top off those things. If they don’t do it that way, buying packs will mostly be a bummer when they get pwnd in PVP for having the wrong or no co-driver.

Finally, I’m very disappointed with yet another of my cabs getting a massive speed nerf. The Master cab is now completely unappealing to me, as is my Howl, and The Call, and others. My Call goes about as fast as the Thug used to now. It’s ridiculous trying to escape all the gddmn melee if you’re not going at least 100kph. It’s so slow now (77kph), it’s worthless. It might as well be a blue cab if it’s going to be that slow. It’s as slow as a white cab.
