NOV update: Copter salt

well i played normal pvp and i assume you played helis so results will differ

lets do it

yea i dont play against helis because theyre objectively shit and literally nobody asked for them when they added them

is it limiting to play anything other than a shitty meta?

gangsterism is not a troll, because a troll’s intention is too make clownish sport of the reader through inflammatory comments. Their comments are to create contention and discomfort for their personal amusement, rather than resolve it.

gangsterism is trying to make a point he feels is important. While he may seem contentious, or defensive, his intention is not to make sport of the reader, but to explain a perspective. In fact gangsterism may be frustrating himself by engaging in this conversation, and not enjoying it.

Now, you may argue my definitions, points, or logic, if you disagree, for they are clear and present. That is my understanding of how a logical argument or apology is arranged.

What does normal pvp mean? You mean classic i guess. I still play that also sometimes. Still doesnt change my stance on mgs.

Now we talking! My username is same as here “Degalus”. Letz try to meet some time and see if im wrong about mgs.

Shit because you think they are weak or shit because you lose against them? But yea it was a surprise when they added them but i already liked them in the event that introduced them. Some friends even only play crossout because of them. But thats another topic.

It is limiting if you refuse to play against some features and items that the game provides.

yes i mean completely normal pvp missions

because the controls, physics and balancing makes no sense and theyre not fun whatsoever to play or play against

you best believe i refuse to play against garbage thats the only reason im complaining about it

I have a blast flying and making manuvers with them. But yea now you only have homing missles or AAs against them anymore. Dont even try to hunt them with mgs.

Would say thats a you problem. Most people want more stuff and better stuff to use on their builds. It not Garbage because you dont like it.

Sooo thx btw to take on the challenge against me. I will finishing the builds and brawl for us tomorrow and letz see if we both are online to do it. Im excited for our brawl! ^^

but the only real control you have over the vehicle is your mouse and roll, so you can do basically nothing apart from roll around like a walrus

better stuff = more ps. that is, unless the stuff is p2w as fuck in which case i still refuse to get it and will call it garbage

I dont realy know what you want from an helicopter in a very arcade like game. I can basicly fly it like a helicopter and can do manuvers that a heli can do. I mean we dont have an special show helicopter to make some nice looking stunts but i can orbit targets while firing , fly through structures make a hard turn nearly stationary and shoot at enemys that follow. I dont know but i just have fun flying it.

Yea you do you but f2p games always have something like that and this one is pretty tame. Not much here thats sooo p2w that its unplayable.

You cant even control yaw or pitch, and the only thrust is 0, 50, 100, and you somehow go faster at a 90 degree angle

Fin whale still exists, and not a single wheeled build uses anything else

I’m agreeing with you a lot more lately, but you’re wrong about this.
I’m sure at the highest PS Finwhales are very common, but outside of that I see (and use) a wide variety of engines on wheeled builds.
The cheetah perk is still very effective with some builds. oppressor has a few builds that greatly benefit from its perks. golden eagle is still usually the best choice for tracks, augers, omniwheels, and atoms (some of those are kind of wheels). I never used colossus much, but I see others using it with wheels to get heavier weapons and armour on light cabins. Red hot is always useful when you’re short on energy, and the higher reverse speed is useful with close range builds. All of the special engines now have a purpose, if you’ve only got one energy point left for an engine and/or are trying to keep your PS below 9k for CC.

i also use different engines depending on what i play but most wheeled builds with bigger weapons have a fin whale stuck in the back. many times when a wheeled build kills me i can see a fin whale. and for higher PS the engine is not even optional

I actually wish there were more choices in engines. Were are still missing a bunch if you look over the previous epics and below in the legendary class ones. Like I’m looking forward to when we get a legendary version of hot red still. I’d really like that 1 extra energy.

On big tracks this is a fair way to min dmg from lasers. It only works so well though.

I play helis. Do you not play helis because it takes skill?

i stated why i dont play helis like 2 messages ago

Helis and mech builds have no legitim space ín the same mode like ground builds. First of all they received full set of upgraded movement parts from a single battlepass. Both were added to attract more players. Both are dead end ín this game. The next step Mode is completely unbalanced. There are not enough heli and mech players to fill the lobby. Bots and ground vehicles are added to the lobby. Wtf? Normal players only do Next step mode for challenges and extra resources. I played both. In my opinion it is not fun to farm bots and ground vehicles. I don’t think the tiny playerbase can keep all modes alive…

the gamemode is 110% there to fill a quota nothing can convince me otherwise. its to attract new players who will obviously leave soon because the gamemode and the game in general sucks

i’m gonna make a small prediction here…here’s an idea for the next meta-cancer-copter:

for lower ps: bat, 2x judge, 2x rare ammo box, falcon rotor
for higher ps: harpy, 2x exec, 1x epic ammo box, epic rotor (the reloading 1, can’t remember the name  )

  • copters are more maneuvrable than hovers (and less wobbly), + you can just hold the brake key and the copter flies paralel to the ground (which makes circle strafing waay easier).
  • since mgs are now much less of a threat, you can even fly close to the ground (and escape upwards if needed)
  • or when you’re up high, you just nosedive over a player and shoot (if the physics are right, the shot should fly straight…if the physics…)

so any copter player…if you can test this i’d like to know the results (or post a vid…)
:smiling_imp: :japanese_ogre:    :japanese_ogre: :smiling_imp:

You guys are both wrong. (@Jalbi76 and @gangsterism)
They added Next Step because too many players were upset about adding aircraft and mech legs, so they created a separate PVP mode so that the haters wouldn’t have to play matches with them.
Will the mode die off from lack of interest? Quite possibly, but I hope not.

I don’t play a lot of aircraft or mech builds (outside of doing challenges in Patrol), but I do like playing my normal ground builds against mechs and aircraft, and I know I’m not the only one.

Mixed matches are fun, and shake up the PVP routine. The respawn thing also makes the matches feel different.

And no, Next Step is not unfair to ground builds. I generally do better in that mode than normal PVP, using the same builds.

Then do it when there are no bots, and there are 4 helis ín enemy team, and come back with your opinion.

I have, and it’s fine.

Copters suck at grabbing capsules, even if they can get lots of kills.

Enyoj it. 90 % of the weapons are not viable there on ground vehicles. What do you think New players feel when they are forced to play the Mode, for which they don’t have movement part and weapon…
