He’s right, you know.
The explanation is above. If you feel better that way, power to you then.
I’m going to have to agree here 100%
Many times we have a nerf/buff everyone freaks out, sells everything, gets the new hotness, then in a few weeks everyone realizes that their old builds still work, the ones that sold their stuff scramble to buy it back.
One of the other things I do not understand about people in this game (I will let someone else comment on it) is - “I’m a (insert name of weapon here) player.”
Yes the bridge… Where occasionally fellow “team mates” using that term loosely, Will purposely shove you off the bridge just to gain position . Little do they comprehend or have the capacity to do so is, That fellow team mate they pushed over the side of the bridge into the abyss thus turning them into a ravager was once an asset to their “teams” behalf but screwed them and the team solely for a cheap thrill. I digress…
Yeah, I don’t get that either.
I mean, I have weapons, cabins, and movement parts that I’m especially fond of, but I would get very bored with this game if I only played my favourites.
I know you get fulfillment from fusing every item and figuring out metas for them. I get similar satisfaction from learning how to use every item to the best of my abilities. If we didn’t have so many “bad” items, I wouldn’t be able to stretch that fun out as long as I do now. The challenge of getting a truly difficult/broken item to work in PVP is endlessly entertaining for me.
“Variety is the spice of life”
It was fun for awhile (and still is if playing on the human side) but it got old pretty fast once I had the pleasure of being insta stunned followed milliseconds later with my front wheels being shot off by – you guessed it – dragonfly mg hovers. I’ve already noticed people exiting the battle if they end up on the Ravager team at the start (or you start on the human side and 1 sec later become the replacement for the guy who quit).
If the trend continues with the hover toxicity I’ll be taking a pass on the 2 reserve chests, 600 engineer badges, paint can, 50 coins and a CK box I would’ve gotten if I’d played to the end (no battlepass).
Wait, are you saying the survivors have an advantage over the ravagers? Because I definitely don’t see that, no matter how many MG hovers the survivors have.
Yup, people tend to be way to rashed about things and only think of themselves in the moment in this game mode
Also, turret users shouldn’t block narrow passageways and gate openings with their turrets
That’s me all day long… and part of why I find the bellyaching about OP parts or trash parts so obnoxious. Like… lighten up. Have fun! Take that broken weapon that EVERYONE KNOWS is trash and learn to be good with it. It’s hilarious.
Of course, if you do that, you’ll soon be accused of using an aim-bot or whatever… which just adds to the fun! LOL
Unless I’m doing that on purpose so you DIE!
TWISTS MOUSTACHE MISCHIEVOUSLY
Okay, I’ve never done that, but I’m willing to bet some folks are thinking it’s giving them an advantage.
I like the amoeba brains who try to overtake you just as you enter the bridge ('cause, like, they’re 0.5 kph faster than you) and both cars end up in the chasm.
After playing out this mode more, I think that they need to add hovers and all sparks to the banned part list, all it takes is 2 machinegun hovers or 2 spark hovers to forever keep the game softlocked for ravagers because they can’t infect anyone at that point
And also add a cooldown timer so that people who always quit at the start of the game if they are on the ravager side won’t be able to enter the mod for 5 minutes or something, when there is only 1 ravager and even a single machinegun or spark hover it’s game over, you’re going to be stunlocked repeatedly
Funnily enough, in that exact situation I managed to destroy two of them by jumping off the cliff and driving straight… and turning right. One of them abandoned the match immediately, the second started “spreading the love”.
or they could do something… like idk, make being a ravager not suck?
right now, a quest you gotta be a survivor… peeps quit immediately if they are a ravager, because they cannot advance their season. Wait until we get the one you gotta be a ravager lol, everyone will be wanting to get hit.
- I like them all. Some are not very good, but that doesn’t mean they might not be after next patch.
I ran onto the relic version of the spark on a hover (Not sure of its proper name) But, LMBO the guy was 100% effective with it and won as a survivor every time. Not to mention the ONLY survivor to actually win those matches. Not covetous, I would use one if I actually had one. >>>—>Insert evil laugh here <—<<<
I say just a bit more than some, if their atrocious driving isn’t done on purpose then I’d say we got a lot of drunks playing
Unless I get a lag spike or the first gates are glitching, 90% of the time I’m killed on the bridge by a teammate, I know people hate hovers and to a point in this mode they’re OP at times, but I will say one thing, and that is I’ve never had a hover player cause my death, in fact, a few saved my butt!
I’m not against that, but I’m not leading the charge as so far hover players helped me and not hindered me unlike the fellow wheeled build users who rush down the passageways like they’re the rhinos from Jumanji
I like that idea too, I remember in the first iteration of this brawl that was a thing, at least this time they banned the skinner from the start!
The ravagers have always been rolls of toilet paper in this brawl
It’s not about whether the survivor’s have an advantage – ravagers still win the majority of the time – it’s just the helplessness and frustration of taking wafer-thin Ravager cars against up against super agile hovers who, as usual, can ignore terrain impediments that so easily trip up wheeled vehicles who have to ram to succeed.
As a survivor on a wheeled build it’s hard enough just transiting from one end of the map to the other at high speed without flipping on little outcroppings and humps and bumps. That alone means the survivor team actually has it harder to win as a team. After-all, they only have one life and can’t afford to screw up their driving. BUT, I’ll take the challenge of driving a wheeled build over the futility of trying to ram a reverser hover (with no armor to impede its acceleration) that’ll stun you milliseconds after getting line of sight on you.
It’s so indicative of Crossout: come up with a cool mode and sure enough leave it to hovers to ruin it. I run a naked wheeled mg car but no wheeled version could ever duplicate a hover version. Using recoil to boost reverse speed is another “exploit” hovers have, too. While a mob chases the super-agile hover reverser, it allows the final gate to count down – assuming the machine gun hover guards let any pursuers near it in the first place.
As far as improvements go it’s difficult: more robust Ravager cars (maybe without the stunner) will just mean the survivor team will win even less than it does now. It’s hard not to zone in on the main culprit, that being hovers once again dominating any mode that requires agility and careful driving.
i think at the very least driving under a hover should count as touching
…and I took that personally.
Nice imagery. Spot on.
For sure…
All that being said, the best solution is to just not play it. LOL
It’s easy to level up without playing the stupid raid.
That’s sad considering how stoked I was for it.
Unless I missed it… no one has noted hovers can fly over ravagers without being hit. They can hover on TOP of ravagers and sit there without being infected.
