if you think thats bad theres a mission for “win 6 battles” which is pretty much impossible unless you have alot of luck.
You are forced to play and score 40+ points 8 times and stay to the end if you desire to complete the challenges. Usually, I get the daily three wins before I earn the 5 patches. Usually the last challenge is always “earn three patches.” I have had some long losing streaks trying to complete these Additional Challenges within 24 hours, stealing time away from other game modes. Today I earned the 5 patches and quit. I hope the challenges stack as worded.
How to fix-
Craft/repair costs determined by durability/resists
Bigger part? More expensive, because that just makes sense.
Power score, how did yall screw up so bad? How? I LOVE going against 3 10ks as a 9k with a 3k team. Just ask grok to write your code.
But actually, standard balancing, duh. Make a competitive mode and skew EVERY match? Why does it automatically stack the highest ps together? Funniest match I saw was the enemy team all above 6k and mine under 6k.
Now I’m biased but for good reason- fast attack builds need to be CHEAP, there is zero point in using low dura, high speed parts (yet here I am)… nobody wants to push, not even the 3k blue builds, so I’m ALWAYS baiting in enemies, but by the time I get some asymmetry going 3 of my 3ks have been killed by a tackler Goliath. I’m good, but I’m not overcome-a-20k-ps-difference good. I refuse to use meta, so I’m constantly replacing my very low dura fidgets. Yeah, I get 600 scrap before one of the 3 10ks finally gets me, but that’s not half the cost to repair my build with 6 legendaries. Legendary wheels? Forget about it.
Ranking- yeah so not okay with losing 10 points as I out score the 3 10ks on the enemy team, but still losing because, duh.
And I’m reading reports of players getting banned because you’ve introduced such an insane slew of bugs because everything is broken in some way. I can’t code that well, bet I can outdo your guys.
Absolute peak crossout, right here. Best yall can offer. No more BPs/EPs for me, and certainly no third half-baked cash grab… EP? What even is it? Pseudo-new game pass? Mode Pass? Yeah, it’s a mode pass. Pay to grind, and don’t get worthwhile rewards. Noice. If this is your test for a paid service version of XO, hope you’ve learned something.
So far the only two things i hate is:
- Matchmaker doesn’t equally distribute players based on PS. So, for example, on my team i get three 10k players, then 6k, and two 4k. On the enemy team however it’s 10k, 6k, and four 4k players.
Even though it’s really fun when you get equally balanced teams. I enjoyed matches where there’s one 10k guy in each team and the rest is 3-5k, even when i’m not that 10k guy.
- This mode doesn’t gives enough rewards for more experienced players
Sure, everyone will get two free epic cabs, weapons and hardware parts of their choice. The problem is, weapon selection is bad, everyone already has all these 4 cabs fused, same with hardware.
You also can get 2 stock / 1 fused epic weapon of your choice or 4 stock/2 fused epic movement parts… but yeah that’s like, bad, even if you consider you’ll only need to spend 10-30 minutes each day playing this mode.
Also there’s literally no point of getting into the leaderboard, if you’re top-500 you’ll get 440 extra sparkplugs, if you’re top 50 you’ll get 1100 extra.
LISTEN UP
Mounting items to rifts enables you to safely destroy them if the round is unbalanced, if you’re losing, or if you even think there’s a chance of losing. Rift it up till they fix the mode. Rift it uppppppp
uhhhh
why would you do that in the first place?
i guess to deny the points to the enemy…spite it up!

Because if the parts aren’t directly destroyed, they don’t get destroyed. Rather than 1000+ coins for a repair, it’s just 180 for the cab. THINK MARK! THINKKKK!
lmao the attitude
-
You do know that you can leave before the countdown ends and you’ll achieve the same effect, right?
-
If you’re leaving in the first place that’s a skill issue, meaning you’re not strong enough to be on average gaining more spares than losing them.
-
YOU WANT TO PLACE GUNS ON A DOOHICKEY THAT HAS 15 HP.

We did it boys. We found the king of sheepies. I don’t think that anyone could top this one
I completely agree on this, and if they could get the overall team PS more consistently balanced I would even enjoy this dynamic in normal Crossout.
I also agree with this, but maybe it’s not an actual problem. I see this event as a better replacement for the mini-BPs, which for me are more about helping newer players catch up.
For more experienced players, we can choose to play the event for fun, but don’t need to do it to keep up. And we also don’t have the inventory advantage we have in normal Crossout, so it helps counter the P2W issues of the main game.
People have been moaning for so long about how the game was better in the early years. This feels like an attempt to test that theory.
Of course it doesn’t seem to have satisfied the biggest complainers, but I don’t think anything realistic is going to.
This isn’t the old crossout in any way. I’ve been playing since 2016 and i don’t remember tracks and augers being OP. They were more like a frag courier to the enemy team.
Also naguals and varuns… No MGs were as op (looking at you tackler)… Yea, they don’t understand what the “old crossout” was
I don’t mean literally exactly like old Crossout. I’m just talking about the never ending complaints that hover ruined the game, or lasers, or omnidirectional parts in general (legs, atoms, hovers, omniwheels), or kapkans, or cryo, etc.
I don’t agree with those complaints, but there are a lot of people who believe the game should have stayed more Mad Max and less Star Wars.
What infuriates me the most is “post-apocalypse is when there’s rust and scrap and barbarians everywhere!!!”.
Why? Because Mad Max set the example, so now soylent drinkers can’t comprehend there might be other scenarios that are post-apoc friendly. Like, for example, you have a bunch of scientists that survived the initial event in an underground science facility, and because they aren’t restricted by government funding, different commitees and bueraucracy, they are able to made something that would othervise took decades to invent…
Oh wait i’ve literally described the Dawn Children faction lol!!! oops
I’m also mad for Star Wars because it also implanted a bollywood-esque thought, in this case its “true sci-fi can’t exist without lasers and energy shields!! also kinetic weapons are doodoo!!!”.
Yeah i’d see how your pretty little laser would counter a hundred of darts coming towards your ship at tens of thousands meters per second ![]()
Don’t get me started: it’s like some people haven’t been exposed to anything but a tiny fraction of the sci fi literature of the past hundred years.
Having said that, Crossout has never been shy about directly referenced existing trademarks, and have been ripping off various movies the whole time. So maybe it’s not surprising that some people get worked up when they combine elements from very different universes.
Personally, I love seeing rusty hotrods next to shiny hovers next to giant mechs. But this back-to-basics mode has been lots of fun so far.
That’s why we have Gravastars! ![]()
I’m sitting at something like a 60% mvp ratio, 7.2kpb. I can only carry so hard. If you had an ounce of creativity you could mount 4 rifts and create multi-point undercarriage that has to lose all 4 separate points of contact to fall off, like I did. Wicked build. Cooler than yours, no doubt, lol. And just for clarification, how do you know quitting while in pregame achieves the same effect? Pot kettle black. *if it makes you feel better it’s already been patched
Man, those facilities that you speak of , normally the scientist have a net for the head and walk around with plastic bags on their feet, the equipment can’t get a particle of dust , from Nasa to Samsung, literally from rocket science to everyday tools.
The facilities itself need a lot of energy to run, you need a workforce to produce, a logistic infrastructure, and so on.
Queue Crossout, a post apocalyptic scenario…a dusty apocalyptic scenario, we have a lot of warlords wannabes ( see the characters, profiles, their stories) , non are it, we have warbands at best as gonverments.
In this context, it’s just BS, not just for that but also if any of the lasers and stuff went under those conditions ( maps we have ) they would break very fast and wouldn’t be reliable.
We had weapons in the past, recent past that were replaced by others much more reliables.
e.g. AK-47, extremely simple design, very reliable.
The same way if i saw a AK-47 in space i would call that BS, i find it hard to believe in Lasers in the desert or in muddy and damp maps.
Nothing against Sci fi.
( i don’t have a Torero, but for the sake of argument…)
Why i walk around with a sorry ass Torero cab, i prefer walking around with a Lamborghini 0 km, brand new, it would be amazing in Sandy Golf, or Founders Canyon, or even in the Quarry…why not?
I know why I’ve been getting screwed so hard. I was top 25 with a 9k smg build, bout 3500 dura/10X top speed. The mode is either rank or skill based matchmaking, this is why I’m getting matched with a team of 3ks vs 2-3 10/11k meta builds each game. Theres the issue right there. In order to kill 3-4 low ps builds and 2-3 meta builds I would need my build to be made entirely out of ammo packs, it’s not even remotely feasible, the games are 100% decided at that point. So yes, I would rather just pop off my guns and take the 180 scrap hit as opposed to inevitably bottoming out my guns and running around like a headless chicken for 2 minutes so I don’t lose what parts ive got left. Thanks for coming to my T.E.D. talk.
