Or just don’t fuse them. You don’t need fused guns.
Intersting discussion, though IMHO completely out of touch.
A niche MMO can survive on just 10 000 active players (statement from PoE devs), even hundred whales are investing mroe than 10000 “regular players” - look up " Let’s go whaling: Tricks for monetising mobile game players with free-to-play" for example on Youtube, there is plethora of similar presentations.
Economics of F2P are extremely scewed and more psychological than technical.
Also
Yes.
Lol, this is crazy talk
Get gud
Yeah I hear you.
But this is not about “Get Gud” their are many builds that are impossible to make without fusions.
Weight/speed are a huge factor and when you have all mass/power fused gear it is a completely different world. It’s night and day man.
It takes a great player and turns them into gods.
Weight speed mass and power; weapon fusions these are not. For my statement was about guns, not these other parts you speak of.
Clouded is your mind young one.
No sir, I’m talking about guns too.
Do you think someone with mass fused Mastodons has the same build as someone without?
What about Mandrakes? Typhoons?
Even lower stuff like Whirls, Fatman, Mammoths, and so on and so on.
Ya, it would be, except that is not happening, unless I start a new account. Otherwise, there are no matches available at low power-scores.
Mate, don’t act like crimson troll. You know full well a perfect weapon fusion isn’t just “+5% damage blabla that’s negligible blabla”. Reloading Fatman/Quasar? Fused Trombone? The long list of weapons that become impossible to OS with Scorps when they get +10% dura?
I’m currently playing mostly Kaiju and enjoying every second of it, but I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be the same if I used a unfused one. Damn, I’d probably have ignored the weapon completely without that projectile speed fusion.
The key word is “survive”. But “surviving” doesn’t meant “living” or “thriving”. Need I remind you that PoE has only one p2a item and it’s stash, set aside the fact that PoE is not a PvP trash but a H&S powercreep trash. Which also means PvP there is kinda redundant.
Oh boy I wonder why would they thrive so much they put tons of content into the game?
P.S. Survival not always ends with a success. Sometimes it ends with death. Sometimes even triple A game companies go bankrupt or close their franchises. Might&Magic is a good example. How long before Gaijin decides to stop XO’s mooching off WarThunder?
OK, I have another solution.
I’m sure this one will not suit you, BUT if your at the point that you want to start another account then this should not hurt anything anyways.
You have to push through that PS bracket and get out on the other side where the builds change. Your at that turning point when you can stay at this single part of the game forever, or you can move forward and enjoy the next step of the game.
And this does not stop you from making a new low level account anyways.
Sell a bunch of your low level gear and upgrade.
Even raids change at higher PS levels. So you have not even been able to enjoy higher level PvE content.
It may not be your way to go, but this is the choice many of us had to make when we went up in level. I remember selling everything to get a legendary build, then I did it again to get a relic build.
PS I loved the gif in the last post he had some sas
Unpopular opinion: The game is the same at 6k or 16k PS. Bunch of lemmings running clockwise around the map without paying any attention to the minimap.
And this is why I like Clan Wars.
I also really really really liked Ranked Arena, I would play that all the time.
I think I’ve heard that before. Maybe it’s true, and in fact I’ve already started doing that. It’s part of what allowed me to fuze my drone-boat for power (you were certainly right about that); I sold all my schit…except anything I had from the previous Battle Pass.
I was just scrapping that crap before, because I had no interest in playing at that power-score (I still really don’t), but now I can’t play at all unless I do (no available matches). So, I’m counting on these Battle Pass fused items in order to keep playing, and I’ve vowed never to just scrap that crap again. This Battle Pass looks like a good one too, so It might help. Or, it’ll just continue to pile up in my inventory and continue to be uninspiring.
I had Hovers. That schit’s too hard. They need to go sideways to work right. I’m not that into it.
I got some Omni wheels. I never wanted Omni wheels. I’m not sure what to do with them. They are neat though, but I like the racing wheels better.
I got both types of frontal wheels. Didn’t really want those either. I still have them. I’m just not sure why I would want them. I can build cars without them (little matchbox cars) so why do I need those? IDK. The best I can tell is, I don’t. I’m not having trouble building cars (little matchbox cars). I’m having trouble finding matches.
Perhaps I exaggerate a little to make a point. My problem with this game is as I presented it, but it’s maybe not as severe as I make it out to be. It tends to ebb and flow with traffic. I am pretty sick of it, though.
…and WTF is this now?

Jesus Christ…whatever.
Anyway, I’m looking forward to the update. I’m sure a lot will be different tomorrow. It’s probably pointless to complain about how this game is now, because it’s not going to be the same after this one hits the fan. I expect the new co-drivers to have a significant effect on how this game goes. It might be a much needed improvement and even attract new players, or who knows? I think you can forget about how this game runs presently. Tomorrow is a very new day.
You need those to push through the PS.
The guys I play with are very excited about the up coming BP weapons. It looks like some of these might have some competitive potential.
I know you like to build, open your mind and just go bigger. How do you know you don’t like it if you have not tried. Challenge yourself to make something you like. It will give you a mission and reason to play. Just like when fused your stuff, I’m sure it made you excited to have a project.
There where soooo many great BP items, I hope you didn’t melt down the good ones.
Part of me agrees with you, the other part remembers I have fused Yoko, Assembler and Annihilator being useless af in my inventory
I’m really hoping we see a tiny Yoko buff today, cab’s been trash since the first Syndicate BP more than a year ago
Yeah lol, we have had our fair share of bad BP items too
Or nerfed to death Because they where released OP.
For $10 I feel like even if I just have fun during the BP with the items it was worth it.
What do you expect from $10 anyways. You can’t even get a meal at fast food, but video game players expect months of content for the same price
I had years of enjoyment out of LoL for technically 0$, and actually spent way more money there than I do here. There’s good economical models, there’s bad ones, and there’s XO, somewhere in the unsatisfying middle where you don’t stop playing, but still hate the way it’s monetized
