I don’t buy the it’s fake accounts for reviews thing either that was brought up.
If we are speculating just having a control group to hold against existing bias can be enough really.

Can you rephrase that I have no idea what your talking about
Existing players generally have biases based on their prefeed builds. Hiring outside can elevate that bias via hiring outside of the normal player base.
This test server is mainly to test the changes in the new balance tweaks. You need to have prior experience with the game and that can only be done with the current player base and that is how it always was done. Hiring outside players will make it worst because they will not have a clue what they are at and I doubt they had the money to hire 6000 players to come and test. It is like gibson hiring someone who never tested guitars in his life out of fear of getting a player that prefers fenders you need actual guitar players.
That’s an assumption based on how quick a person might gain skills based on your personal experience…
This is not about skills this about balance changes, what?
what do that have to do with the dough they managed to cook up to hire 6000 players?
You just said it was about skills:
To really test something well you need a blank slate opinion, if you really want it to be honest and native to how someone picks up controls.
So you don’t think they would ever hire better testers if the general player base was only giving them like 20 reports each test cycle?
I’m sure they handle customer feedback better. The new and old player both have to be satisfied at the end…
Old SG Custom: It’s not just custom because I wanted every one of it’s players advise. It’s been taken though.
I never said skills I said experience totally different. Loads of bad players in this game but doesn’t mean they are not experienced, hell you can have a .014 kd and still at least have experience.
Talent falls flat after a while. If you don’t practice the skills never develop. KD doesn’t matter I’ve been stuck do to avgs at 3.49 for a while I’m sure it will go up though. I had previously tanked it a few times much lower.
when crossout first released those types of testers were necessary but when it comes to a game that always goes thru balance changes every month hiring and paying for people is not a good option, you be broke and you need to know how the weapons/movement parts etc performed prior. New people will not know what it was like and they don’t know the nuances of all the things they are testing like the existing playerbase does.
That might be ideal if there is only old players but there isn’t you have and admixture. It needs a stable control group.
I just was using that as an example, what?
Stable control group.
Dirty hamster your making my brain hurt, im gone
Wave, have a nice night!

Your going off topic. You misquoted me once and said something that i did not say and when i corrected you went on with something completely different. I said something along the lines of they needed experienced players for the control tests then you misquoted me has saying that it was about skilled players. Then when i corrected you, you then started a conversation about the dynamics of skill and showing pictures of your guitar totally unnecessary . Dirty hamster I can’t hold a conversation with yea, too much disjointed non sense.
Where did I miss quote you?
There is too much bloat here now on this thread. I try to talk and explain things in a very simple manner.
It stated it twice already but I will do it a third time just to go the extra mile.
yet you are the one who said it was about skills. This is what you said

Your the one saying it was about skills but anyways this thread is so bloated now with non sense.
I basically said experience and then you swapped that word out and made it seem like I said skills when in fact you were the one who said it was about skills. I said it was about experience not skills and you basically misquoted your own self. I even said myself it wasn’t about skills so whatever you went on with after that seemed like complete gibberish.
