If it were decor, I’d be fine with it. Seeing videos of them mounted on spiders & being used as impenetrable armor is not cool. I only play one game at a time for the most part. The last game I played started down this road & fell apart so fast it made my head spin. They’d introduce a new bot, and it’d be so OP you couldn’t compete against it. So, to win, you had to have it. That’s not what this latest pack is, but it’s the 1st time I can remember a part ONLY being available via cash. Maybe there was one before it. I dunno. The BP weapons & parts were the 1st big step in this direction that I saw, and this bypasses that for straight out P2W BS.

Russia is very conservative, and the people are tough as nails. I’ve never met a Russian sissy. The only places I’ve ever met a Russian is at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and in jail. Both of them were nice, but seemed carved out of stoic oak. I think their nerds are even intimidating.
I often hired two Russian dudes to do drywall.
They were massive dudes.
Spoke very little English.

Now… no lie… one would tie 5 gallon paint buckets to his feet & the other would hand him a sheet of drywall. He’d then lift the sheet over his head & pin it to the ceiling WITH HIS HEAD, align it, and then screw it into place… SOLO.
Next time you’re at the hardware store, pick up a sheet of drywall.

People have been crying and blaming relics for the fact they lose-cant get uranium-global warming etc, for ever.
The reality is that relics dont mean much, its all about experience on what beats what and tactics-counterplay.
The above is stated for clanwars, now imagine a mode with powerscore limitation that gives relics inherent disadvantage because of that.
This doesnt mean that crossout is excused for its pay to win item fusion crap, but given that me and the clans i have been to have won more CW battles against full relic fused teams than i can remember, i boubt its the fusions that are solely responsible for losses.

3k out of those 4k in my score and the win on the first match has been achieved with me using double heathers, a legendary weapon. Against one of the top clans of the game in proper clan wars.
Its not any achievement or anything, if you ask most of the guys in silver+ will have plenty of similar proof, i just showed it since you asked
I will freely admit that I haven’t performed particularly well in confrontation. The four person teams really changes the game, and I don’t have much CW experience to pull from.
I really need to remind myself constantly to stay with my team, and predict the strategy of the opposing team. I like the challenge, but playing confrontation during peak hours makes me realize how much more skilled truly competitive players are. I need to put in more time to get a feel for it, and probably need to rebuild a lot of my rides.
You normally like to march to the beat of your own drum…but if you want to improve in confrontation, I will gladly pair up with you some and offer suggestions while we roll off wins
Yes, its mini clan wars so it does what clan wars does and even worse to en extend because you can join solo.
At least clan wars forces a 4 team which enforces some sort of organization, like someone carrying doppler for instance.
In modes like confrontation if you join solo you may very well not even get that.
So its essentially random matches without the bots+mini clan wars, which is a combination of what people have been asking for.
If i dig i may find the post i made where i tried to explain to people that most of them cannot handle what they ask for, because i foresaw exactly what you described.
The random matches chaos allows a lot of them to do things in ALL powerscores that in any decent clan war they would be toast before they reach the enemy.
Now its “confrontation sucks and relics need ban or nerf or i quit the game” all over the place.
I’ve seen you in PVP matches, and I know you’re quite skilled. But I fear I’d probably drag you down at this point.
Nevertheless, next time I see you in game I’ll add you to my friend list.
I’ve got a thick skin, so I don’t mind enduring a long losing streak, as long as I feel I can learn from it. Currently I still feel like I’m improving, but now I feel like I have a lot more to learn than I thought I did.
I dont pretend to be the best but I am sure some simple things can be shared to speed up the learning curve. I am not worried about the results but I am confident we can play at a respectable level nonetheless.
